How do I choose between a scented candle and a diffuser? The candle scents your home when lit, combining fragrance diffusion with the light of the flame. The diffuser releases fragrance continuously through the reeds. The choice depends on the diffusion rhythm you are looking for and the way you want to scent your space.
Do candles and diffusers of the same fragrance smell the same? They share the same olfactory identity. The perception of the fragrance varies depending on the diffusion method. The warmth of the candle and the continuous diffusion of the reeds offer two different experiences of the same composition.
How do I choose between White Tea and Cedar? White Tea offers a soft, clean and delicate composition, designed for a light and soothing atmosphere. Cedar develops a more woody and structured character, with a deeper olfactory presence. Your choice depends on the atmosphere you want to create in your home.
Can I use a candle and a diffuser in the same room? Yes. Combining a candle and a diffuser of the same fragrance allows you to extend its identity throughout the space. The diffuser ensures a continuous scented presence, while the candle intensifies the olfactory experience when lit.

How long does an ESSENCE1989 candle burn? Our 260 g scented candles offer approximately 45 to 50 hours of burn time when used and maintained correctly.
How do I perform the first burn? On first use, let the candle burn long enough for the wax to melt evenly across the entire surface. This promotes an even burn in subsequent uses.
Should I trim the wick before each use? Yes. Before each lighting, check the wick and trim it if necessary. A well-maintained wick promotes a steady flame and a cleaner burn.
How long can I leave my candle burning? We recommend not leaving the candle burning for more than four consecutive hours. Always place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
Why might the wax change slightly in appearance? Our candles are made from soy and coconut wax. Slight variations in texture or appearance may occur with use without affecting the quality of the candle or its fragrance.
Where should I place my scented candle? Place your candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface, away from draughts. Keep it away from flammable objects and out of reach of children and animals.
How can I make the most of my candle's fragrance? Allow the wax to melt evenly with each use and place the candle in a space suited to fragrance diffusion. Avoid strong draughts, which can disturb the flame and the olfactory diffusion.

How long does an ESSENCE1989 diffuser last? The lifespan of a diffuser varies depending on the room temperature, its location and how frequently the reeds are turned. To extend diffusion, keep it away from heat sources and direct draughts.
How many reeds should I use? The number of reeds influences the intensity of the fragrance. Use more reeds for a stronger diffusion, or reduce the number for a more subtle scent.
How often should I turn the reeds? Turn the reeds when you want to intensify the fragrance diffusion. The more frequently you turn them, the more intense the diffusion will be and the faster the fragrance will be consumed.
Where should I place my fragrance diffuser? Place your diffuser somewhere with natural air circulation, without exposing it directly to sunlight or a heat source. Avoid placing it too close to an open window, as this accelerates the evaporation of the fragrance.
How do I adjust the intensity of the fragrance? To intensify diffusion, increase the number of reeds or turn them. For a more subtle presence, use fewer reeds and space out the turnings.
Should I replace the diffuser reeds? When you change fragrance or refill your diffuser, we recommend using new reeds. Reeds that are already saturated can alter the diffusion and character of the new fragrance.
How long does it take for the fragrance to diffuse through the room? After placing the reeds in the bottle, allow them time to absorb the fragrance. Diffusion builds gradually and evolves according to the size of the room, air circulation and the number of reeds used.
